The NVT Phybridge EC4 Extender Kit is designed to supercharge the downlink ports of a standard Ethernet switch, enabling 4 IP endpoints from a single long run Coax cable to deliver fast Ethernet and PoE with up to 3,000ft (915m) reach - that's 10Xs the reach of standard Ethernet switches.
