Resideo is committed to providing the best alarm communication solutions for the security industry. Our LTE Communicators utilize the latest LTE technology to communicate with AlarmNet. Resideo Communicators easily connect to customers’ security system control panels and sends alarms and messages to AlarmNet for transfer to the central monitoring station. The First Alert VX1 HD Video doorbell is designed for the intelligence and reliability that most customers expect for their connected home. With advanced event detection for meaningful notifications, which includes people, vehicle, animal, package, and sound detection, the doorbell offers leading video quality and performance. Dealers using the AlarmNet 360 app can add and configure the doorbell, ensuring a great homeowner experience. Dual-band 2.4 and 5GHz WiFi provides enhanced performance and simplifies installation. The doorbell is made of a UV-resistant material, designed to prevent environmental wear, and operates in extreme weather conditions.

  • Quick connection to Resideo control panels and non-Resideo compatible control panels (see panel compatibility)
  • Supports both ECP and Bus connections to compatible control panels
  • Powered by the control panel’s 12VDC auxiliary output
  • Supports dynamic or static IP addressing, and installs behind firewalls without compromising network security (Ethernet only, WIFI does not support STATIC addressing)
  • Supports connection to the Internet via Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi requires installation of PROWIFIZW or PROWIFI module) – only one method can be used, Ethernet or Wi-Fi, not both
  • Reports alarms and status messages via the Internet (LTE communicators provide cell radio backup reporting)
  • Camera with Dual-Band Wi-Fi Connectivity
