The Signamax 10/100/1000 to 1000Base SFP PoE+ Media Converter is AC powered and combines data received over a fiber optic link with up to 25.5 Watts of PoE+ power at the end of a 100m cable run, which the powered devices can use in lieu of a separate power connector. The PoE+ power source equipment attribute allows the converter to provide power to either PoE or PoE+ powered devices using the twisted pair connection. This media converter is also equipped with power device signaturesensing, power monitoring features, and a 1000Base SFP receptacle, accepting a wide variety of 1000Base SFP modules for its fiber optic interface.
