The SPX-7420 is a Suprex Wiegand Reader-Extender that connects a reader and its door or gate hardware to any Wiegand or MagStripe based control panel. Use either single-mode or multi-mode fiber optic cable. The SPX-7420 also supervises the connection. Includes both remote (reader/door) and central (panel) units.The SPX-7420 supports one reader, but can accommodate a total of 8 readers over the same fiber optic connection using EXP-2000 expansion pairs (use 1 EXP-2000 pair for each additional reader).
