Product Overview

If you need to install readers without dragging cable, if you are dealing with damaged conduit, or if the reader needs to connect over city streets, parking lots, or railroad tracks, use the SPX-5631 Wireless Wiegand Extender. The RF Suprex now supports OSDP readers connected to OSDP controllers, Wiegand readers connected to Wiegand controllers, or a combined OSDP/Wiegand system.

  • Now supports OSDP, Wiegand, Wiegand keypad, Strobed/Magstripe, and unsupervised F/2F interfaces
  • Wireless 2.4GH using IEEE 802.15.4 protocol
  • 1-mile / 1.6 km outdoor range* with F-style chip antenna (omnidirectional; units do not have to directly face each other) * with line of sight, depending on environment
  • Supports 4-248 bits of credential data
  • Supports 2 readers’ LED and auxiliary digital I/O
  • 2 dry contact relay outputs on Central Unit
  • 2 dry contact relay outputs on Remote Unit
  • Weather-resistant ABS IP65 enclosure
  • In Wiegand mode, connect up to 7 additional readers over the same wireless connection using EXP-2000 Expansion pairs (NOTE: EXP-2000s are not supported in OSDP mode.)
