The PS3000 is a 12V, 4A continuous regulated power supply that increases the panel's available standby current. The TRF15 100VA, 18V transformer, which includes a metal housing and all required mounting hardware, is required. In use, the batteries are wired to the control panel and are charged by the panel's power supply. The PS3000 Power Supply Module furnishes all auxillary, remote, and bell power. However, auxillary connections (other than CF5530 bell current) are made to the control-panel terminal strip. The PS3000 is intended for UL Central Station, Police Station Connect, Commercial and Household Fire and Commercial and Household Burglar Alarm System Units. The PS3000 must be wired as part of a supervised system. The PS3000 can supply panel, auxiliary and / or bell current up to a maximum total of 4A where the auxillary current from the PS3000 does not exceed 2.75A.
