The 2268 Lock is a 1200 Lb. holding force electromagnet for life safety and high security on rated or non-rated doors and frames. It is specifically designed to offer a low profile for minimal projection into the door opening. The Lock housing projects only 2" into the door opening. This low profile provides maximum clearance for opening heights of 7-0 and less, to facilitate code compliance on designated egress doors. The 2268 is field selectable for 12VDC or 24VDC. An optional rectifier permits 12/24 VAC. Surge suppression is built-in. Optional door and lock status sensors facilitate remote monitoring and 12" long color-coded wire leads are provided for field hook-up.
