Product Overview
The Vi3002 is an Ethernet and 60W PoE repeater that provides a cost effective method for increasing distances beyond the Ethernet limit of 324 feet (100m) for IT or CCTV installations. Each unit can extend Ethernet and PoE for 324 feet (100m). Multiple units can be cascaded to reach the desired distances. The Vi3002 is a high performance device that meets the demands for the highest PoE powered PTZ domes and LED lighting to eliminate the need for local power. It is extremely compact in size and can be easily installed in installations in the smallest environments such as wire conduits and weather-proof enclosures. Removable mounting brackets make installation an easy process. The Vi3002 is the perfect solution for any IP transmission application. Up to 8 units can be combined to achieve a distance of 3,000 feet for IP video, PoE, and data transmission. The Vi3002 uses PoE only and requires no local power. It is an ideal repeater to be used with Vigitron PoE switches and Midspans, as well as, any other standard PoE switches.
